TripAdvisor Reviews For Malabar Hill
My partner and I were burnt out from the corporate life in London and needed a well-deserved break! I booked 10 nights at Malabar Hill after a lot of research... read more and couldn't recommend it enough. The grounds, food, service, rooms were all incredible. The staff were so attentive and lovely, the activities were fantastic (but very expensive) and we spent at least 3 days on the beach (free travel service back and forth if you eat at their neighbour restaurant). It was so luxurious - its the first time I've ever thought I wanted to return to a hotel. Really really worth the trip coming from 2 individuals with very high standards when it comes to hotels!

A Unique Stay in Weligama - My husband and I spent two nights at Malabar Hill in February 2022 and we loved everything about it.
The Good:
The architecture was stunning. We... read more loved everything from the design to the decor. Although the menu looked like it could use a few more options, whatever we ordered was delicious and presented well. The villas were clean and comfortable. It has been built with serenity in mind, and you can't help but relax when you check in.
The Bad:
Nothing comes to mind.
The Unique:
When we checked in, we checked in directly to the villa. All correspondence from ordering food and asking the staff to collect the dishes were done via whatsapp which was convenient. We woke up every morning to the sound of peacocks and watched monkeys travel through trees while lounging in the pool. You feel like the resort is among nature and you see plenty of birds as a result.

The rooms are so spacious and set on stilts looking over paddy fields or the sea. The food is delicious and so fresh and varied. The staff are all great and a special mention to Eran who is just excellent especially helping with my daughter’s honeymoon. Really look forward to going back one day!

Outstanding service, hotel, accommodations and views! a must! - Outstanding hotel - amazing main building (beautiful architecture and design) and the best rooms we've ever stayed in. Amazing views from the room - a private overlooking the rice fields,... read more forest and the ocean. Absolutely amazing. Outstanding service - Sri Lanka has indeed the nicest people nd it deserves that a lot more tourists come. We felt safe at lll times and the tourism industry is well and working full speed and capacity. People should come to Sri Lank, at least once in a lifetime and malabar Hill is certainly (it was for us) the "grand finale" in our visit.
